As warmer temperatures begin to envelope the islands, construction continues to pick up speed. With hurricane season quickly approaching, we have begun prioritizing exterior work that is susceptible to rain and extreme heat if left exposed and unfinished. Recently, our exterior finish crew has been on site at the South Sound residence. Primer application to the main house exterior walls is now in progress. Crews have also begun the finish coat application to the garage and guest house walls, as well as the main house halls. The Cayman Islands sit squarely in the Atlantic hurricane corridor. Monstrous storms threaten the islands on almost an annual basis, so it’s crucial that these luxury homes are made from thick concrete foundations that support sturdy walls.
