South Sound Home 6/20/21 update
Construction crews are busying themselves with several new projects at the South Sound home. With optimal weather returning to the Grand Cayman Islands, crews are working in earnest to make this dream luxury home a reality for some very lucky owners! We’ve prepared an overview of the all exciting work being completed at this up-and-coming residence. CSG has been working closely with project’s main contractor, Arch and Godfrey, to ensure smooth workflow processes. These jewels are sure to be the crown of the Grand Cayman Islands.
A list of the most recent developments are as follows:
- Excavation/trenching for plumbing lines to main house foundation slab area in progress.
- Form-work to the outside of the main house foundation slab in progress.
- Plumbing contractor on site. Plumbing rough-in work in progress to the main house foundation slab area.
- Rebar crew on site. Rebar work to prepare reinforcement for columns and beams in progress.
- Revised architectural drawings and renderings are underway.
- Leveling and hand grading adjustments to prepare the engineered fill base for the main house foundation slab in progress.
- Rebar work and form-work in progress to the garage beams.
- Wheel spacers placed at the garage columns and beams.
